40 Questions With Cachet: Design Trends

2021 marks Cachet’s 40th year in the home building industry. To commemorate our four decades as a developer and builder of custom homes and master-planned communities, we are excited to introduce a new feature to our blog, 40 Questions with Cachet. This series is designed to give you a special behind-the-scenes glance into the company we are so proud to call home. Over the coming months, we hope that our answers provide you with ample insight into our history, core values, customer experience, industry expertise, the future of Cachet, and more.

The entire Cachet team is incredibly grateful to our homeowners for continuing to place their trust in us — it remains our sincerest privilege to build your dream home. We look forward to many more years of creating master-planned communities for active families across Southern Ontario.

WHAT IS ONE OF CACHET’S FAVOURITE DESIGN TRENDS FROM THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS?

We love the Mountain Modern architectural design style adopted at Cachet Mount Hope and Erin Glen. Mountain Modern mixes contemporary lines and shapes with chalet-style textiles and textures to create a look that is both classic and clean. This design style has longevity and will remain current over the years.

From an interior design perspective, we’ve been adapting our home designs to reincorporate stylish yet functional home offices, which have become much more important since the pandemic began.

WHERE IS CACHET BUILDING IN 2021?

As of this month, either internal servicing or new home construction is currently occurring at Westwood Village in Cambridge, Mount Hope in Hamilton, ParQ in Brantford, Generations in the Village of Ayr, Bradford Urban Towns, and Bradford Parkside. Construction at Cachet Beamsville was officially completed in 2021, as well. We will be launching many communities in new locations, like Cachet Arthur, in the upcoming months and are excited to share more details with our registrants as they become available.

We pride ourselves on our ability to act with integrity and to deliver on our promises to our purchasers. Cachet is committed to building the highest quality communities for families in Southern Ontario and moving as steadily as we can to fulfill the current demand for new homes.
