2021 marks Cachet’s 40th year in the home building industry. To commemorate our four decades as a developer and builder of semi-custom homes and master-planned communities, we are excited to introduce a new feature to our blog, 40 Questions with Cachet. This series is designed to give you a special behind-the-scenes glance into the company we are so proud to call home. Over the coming months, we hope that our answers provide you with ample insight into our history, core values, customer experience, industry expertise, the future of Cachet, and more.
Tell us about the first community by Cachet.
The first of Cachet’s fully turn-key residential communities was Summit Trail in Richmond Hill’s prestigious Bayview area. These 32 semi-custom estates—filled with the detail and quality that are the trademarks of Cachet’s most luxurious custom homes—were marketed, sold, developed, constructed, and delivered all within just 18 months.
How many homes does Cachet build in a year?
Cachet builds hundreds of homes in several different communities across Southern Ontario each year. To date, we have developed and built over 4,000 homes.
Does Cachet have a particular architecture style?
We don’t have one particular style; we design architecturally refined homes by drawing influence from the surrounding area to create visually appealing communities with varied elevations. You can always recognize a Cachet community by its stylish streetscapes; streetscapes that are vibrant and well-planned to reflect uniqueness, while retaining architectural integrity. Each home stands as a testament to exceptional design and quality, blending beautifully with the surrounding homes to create a distinct and timeless neighbourhood, punctuated with lush greenspaces and places for families to walk, bike, hike, and explore.
How many people work at Cachet?
It takes hundreds of people to build every Cachet home. From our office and site staff to our valued trade, sales, marketing, and architecture partners, we have strategically assembled a team of dedicated professionals to deliver the very best customer experience to our home buyers.
