Cachet Over the Years: Jennings Gate

To celebrate our 40th anniversary, we are thrilled to showcase several Cachet homes and communities from the last four decades. While every one of our developments is special to us, these particular custom homes and master-planned communities each have a distinctive feature that has played a significant role in our growth and evolution. Today, we are looking back at the first Jennings Gate homes built in Unionville—these are the Cachet homes that started it all.

The first Cachet home, pictured above, was built in 1981 by our founder Anthony Auciello for his family. The home was finished with all the modern features and deluxe amenities of the day including an indoor pool. Almost immediately after completion, Mr. Auciello was approached by several prospective buyers who wanted to purchase the home. Those who didn’t get the chance to purchase his first home then commissioned him to build custom estates for their families in the Jennings Gate community—A. Auciello and Son Custom Homes was born.

The above photo is a Jennings Gate home that was built for another family in the community. This home is a unique take on the grand estate carriage trade home style and shows early signs of Cachet’s dedication to distinctive architecture and superior quality craftmanship. The stone façade and arched windows make the home feel welcoming and create a classic look. Spanning 5,500 square feet and situated on sprawling one-acre lots, the Jennings Gate homes were the first in a long line of fabulous custom homes built with families in mind.

These special homes set in motion the events that would eventually lead to A. Auciello and Son becoming Cachet Estate Homes.
