2021 marks Cachet’s 40th year in the home building industry. To commemorate our four decades as a developer and builder of custom homes and master-planned communities, we are excited to introduce a new feature to our blog, 40 Questions with Cachet. This series is designed to give you a special behind-the-scenes glance into the company we are so proud to call home. Over the coming months, we hope that our answers provide you with ample insight into our history, core values, customer experience, industry expertise, the future of Cachet, and more.
The entire Cachet team is incredibly grateful to our homeowners for continuing to place their trust in us — it remains our sincerest privilege to build your dream home. We look forward to many more years of creating master-planned communities for active families across Southern Ontario.
WHAT IS THE MOST CHALLENGING PART OF BEING A HOME BUILDER?
The most challenging part of being a home builder is exceeding today’s homebuyers’ high expectations of quality, value, and service. It is a challenge we take seriously, remaining focused on identifying areas we can improve to deliver the very best product and experience to our valued purchasers. At Cachet, we are driven to continually adapt and evolve in order to exceed homebuyers’ expectations at every turn.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE PART ABOUT DELIVERING YOUR CUSTOMERS THEIR DREAM HOMES?
The satisfaction of knowing that the trust our customers have placed in us has been rewarded, that we have fulfilled our promise to build them a home of exceptional quality, and that, most importantly, they are truly satisfied with the final product.
WHAT IS THE MOST UNIQUE FEATURE CACHET EVER BUILT INTO A HOME?
There have been many, including home theatres, indoor pools, wine cellars, and kosher kitchens — but perhaps the most unique feature we built into a home was a prayer room.
WHAT BRINGS YOU THE MOST JOY WHEN HANDING OVER THE KEYS TO A NEW HOME?
We derive joy from delivering a home that we know will stand the test of time and from seeing the joy on families’ faces when they walk into their finished home for the first time. We never forget that every home we build is more than just a place of shelter; it’s a place where families will live, grow, celebrate, and make lasting memories.
IN THE PAST 40 YEARS WHAT WAS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE OR TOUCHING HOMEOWNER MOMENT?
A very memorable moment was the first time we had a repeat customer who shared with us how important it was for her to be able to purchase another Cachet home. This has happened many times over the years and it is a privilege and honour to be such an integral part of our purchasers’ lives.
